July 2nd, Well - after playing catch up (remeniscent of my dog trying to catch hold of her own tail - and as she is a Dobermann and has no tail.....) we are almost there. Packs are out, people are asking if they can run with their gran, the course is in shape, the boats are heading to their stations and we are still sorting all those last minute bits and bobs.

The forescast is pretty good so hopefuly no puddle jumping.

For the "old stagers" amongst you - the finish line is over on the opposite side of the canal this year - logistics!

See you tomorrow - enjoy!

June 28th, Phew!!! Well after some serious sweating over the route and "unknown" scheduled works that put a major detour into the frame - or even a re-route - we are back as "normal", (or as normal as we will ever be).

Race packs are on their way and should be with you all by Wed/Thur latest this week.

Looks like it is going to be a busy one with the weather looking favourable - fingers crossed.

One more hiccup - no showers this year:( We did what we could - asked, begged, grovelled but to no avail. NIA have a big event coming up and are in set up mode so won't allow access and the local health club that helped previously "are out". We tried the portable shower option but the restrictions on use around the finish are tighter than a tight thing. Looks like a dip in the canal then - sorry.

June 7th, The Clock is ticking - Race Info, Chips & Numbers should arrive with you week during beginning June 20th.

June 4th, Pitcher & Piano have confirmed that they will offer special rates on drinks and food on production of your race number. Go easy on them tho - it appears you lot drank them out of all their bottled beer last year!

June 1st, Well we are well on the way to 1,000 runners now. Fingers crossed for the weather!

May 4th, Route on Good Run Guide at http://www.goodrunguide.co.uk/RouteViewer.asp?RouteType=S&RouteID=88832

April 29th, 700 and rising!

April 29th, Parkinson's have a new image, check out their website at www.parkinsons.org.uk/westmidlands. If you can, try and raise a few pounds for them every little (or lots) help.

April 18th, 600 Reached and Breached!

April 12th, We've moved into the 500's territory with an eye on the 600 mark now, have also updated the online entry page to reflect prices of entry through the various online entry portals

April 12th, If you send a pre-paid envelope we will place in marketing materials and send it back at some point in the future,  We use a standard mailshot approximately two weeks before the event, you will get your timing chip, race number and an information leaflet.  Aside from the occasional email then you wont get anything back postally.

Mar 17th, With thanks to Adrian - it looks like there will be a "special offer" on for runners at an ale house just yards from the finish line.

Mar 8th, Entries now at over 400 - great to have you all on board!

Mar 8th, Great news from the BCNS who have committed to helping out with canal boat drink stations along the course again this year.

Mar 8th, The Runners World forum is alive and well.
